We live in a world with immense pressure to consume. The average person is subjected to anywhere from 1,000-5,000 advertisements every single day! 

With corporations focusing on higher profits every year, the quality of goods has gone down while the quantity has skyrocketed. Quality has been sacrificed in an effort to maximize corporate profit. Human beings are exploited in a race to the bottom. We are left constantly replacing and re-purchasing items that should last a lifetime. This is not a sustainable practice for us or our planet.

When you buy second hand, you are contributing to your local economy and directly reducing waste! Sounds like a win-win.
